Dusty Neal’s flash from New Republic Tattoo in Fort Wayne, IN.
“The creative adult is the child who survived”
This is a quote by a wonderful author named Ursula K. Le. Guin. I had a very rough childhood, and this tattoo is to remind myself of all I have overcome. I got this done by a totally rad lady named Nadine Morris at Atattooed in Westerville, Ohio. This is my first tattoo!
This is the tattoo my best friend and I got. It says “always” and the bottom of the y forms an infinity symbol. It’s to represent our Harry Potter nerdiness, and the fact that while we may not have known each other very long, we’ll always be friends. And no matter what she’ll always be my best friend, and my other half. We may get on each others nerves some days (and those days are very few), but we love each other always.
A few days after I got it done. (ejfg.tumblr.com)
2 hearts beat as one.
Got this bad boy at Cat Tattoo in Addison. It’s by Aaron Grace. I’ve always had a strange obsession with the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland and this quote describes how I’ve pretty much felt about life since I’ve been a child.
This is my second tattoo, I got it done by Nate Moretti at Mcinnis Tattoo co. in Providence RI. Its means a lot to me because last year I had to get an emergency eye surgery that required a six week recovery of me laying on my stomach face down and I’ve been having problems with them ever since. Now whenever I look in the mirror I seem to only notice my eyes.
I got this tattoo by Jay at Vision Burn Tattoos in Pennsylvania. I live in Maryland, so I drove over four hours to get him to do this piece on me.
It’s a chrysanthemum flower, or my own version of it. Chrysanthemums represent optimism and joy. This is one of five tattoos, hoping to become art of a half sleeve one day.
I also have the quote “Never settle for anything less than butterflies” on my other arm..just another optimistic daily reminder!
This is my second tattoo. I chose to get a cat silhouette inside of a vintage picture frame with a single sunflower at the bottom because it incorporated the 3 things I hold close to my heart, my love for cat, photography, and sunflowers. This piece was also inspired by my mom because she also loves the same things I do and I always want her to be a part of my life no matter how far away from home I go. She is my best friend and my hero.
I got my tattoo done my Phil at Atomic Tattoo in Brandon, FL. He was an amazing artist who truly captured the idea I had in mind. :]
Owl (and unseen hourglass) by Rick Lohm. Owls are very popular tattoos, but that doesn’t matter. A tattoo doesn’t have to be completely unique for it to mean something to you.
SEXY PIC..LOL..I HAVE THESE SHOES..
